Do Dash Cameras Record When Your Car Is Parked?
Most dash cams stop recording the moment you turn the key. That is when a lot of damage happens: door dings, cart hits, a bumper scrape overnight. The Rydeen MiNy360X is hardwired and radar-triggered, so it keeps watch with the engine off. Our team at Audio Source has installed this for customers all over Clark County.

Where plug-in dash cameras fall short
A dash cam needs power to record. Most plug into the 12V socket, and on most vehicles that socket goes dead with the ignition. No power means no footage.
Some dash cameras record nonstop while parked instead. That fills the memory card with hours of empty lot and puts a steady load on the battery.
Why our customers choose it
Nearly every week, customers walk through our doors with the same frustrating story: getting hit by another driver who flees or lies to the insurance company about what happened. Without witnesses or traffic cameras, it always turns into a costly battle of "he said, she said" where the innocent driver ends up paying the price. These customers usually leave our shop with a front and rear dash cam installed, wishing they had put one in just a day sooner.

What makes the MiNy360X different
Hardwired installation. It stays powered with the engine off and the key in your pocket.
Proximity radar trigger. Recording starts when someone approaches. Rydeen rates the sensor at up to 5–7 meters with 360-degree detection.
Sleeps when it’s quiet. After 70 seconds with no movement, it goes back to sleep.
Battery protection. The radar module has 11.8V low-voltage protection.
All four sides. The 360-degree lens catches the person at your rear quarter panel, not just in front of the hood.
What the footage looks like
The MiNy360X records in 2K Ultra HD on a Sony image sensor with Wide Dynamic Range, which balances glare and shadow in garages and under lot lights. Review and download clips in the free Rydeen 360 app over 5.8GHz Wi-Fi, with GPS location alongside the video.

Frequently asked questions
Can I get parking monitoring without hardwiring?
The plug-in Rydeen MiNy360 supports it with the optional PWH-102 radar sensor. For full engine-off coverage, the hardwired MiNy360X is the better fit.
Will parking monitoring drain my battery?
The radar sleeps after 70 seconds without movement and has 11.8V low-voltage protection, so it shuts down before the battery gets too low to start the car.
Does the MiNy360X record the sides of the car?
Yes. The lens covers 360 degrees horizontally, so front, rear, left and right are all recorded.
